Each interactive module is composed of a slide deck that offers users, the essential knowledge on the covered topic, derived from selected chapters of the 2nd edition of the EU CAR-T Handbook released in 2025, and updated when needed with the content of recent publications and documents. The EU CAR-T Handbook is freely available at https://www.ebmt.org/education/carthandbook/
Users are challenged for knowledge acquisition with questions and exercises in various formats.
The current version will be fully released in June 2026, and is intended for physicians in training.
Completion of the training will be testimony of individual competency. The passport initiative completes the center qualification process that recognized a collective organization.
Work is in progress to design additional modules that will cover other topics of interest, such as the use of CAR-T Cells for autoimmune diseases.
Future versions are in preparation, designed for nurses, apheresis specialists and other healthcare professionals involved in CAR-T Cells delivery. Translated versions in major EU languages are also being considered, in particular for nurses.
